What is a Green Wall?
A Green Wall, alternatively known as a “Vertical Garden” or a “Living Wall” is a vertical structure consisting of many layers. These layers possess many panels which can store plants and support their growth by allowing a flow of air and water. By the time a Green Wall is fully grown, the internal structure won’t be visible, leaving you with a beautiful Green Wall! There are multiple variations of Green Walls which can be discussed and chosen from when you consider a Green Wall installation.
Where can this wall be installed?
Anywhere! This structure can be installed to cover any exterior or interior wall of your home no matter the scale. Green Walls don’t have to be installed on just housing however, as well as on homes we have seen Green Walls installed on the sides of public buildings, and exterior walls of businesses!
Green Roofs
Similar to their vertical counterpart, they greatly transform the look and feel of your property and provide the same benefits. We also have a range of styles to choose from!
What are the benefits?
First of all, whereas standard walls and rooves start to get worn down and damaged by excessive rain and UV light, these structures thrive from this climate and continue to grow while protecting your property from the elements.
These green structures can also provide the following for your property…
- Attraction and benefit of local wildlife.
- Slowing the flow of rainwater.
- Absorbance of CO2 emissions
- Oxygen Output
- Benefits to the local environment
- Improved thermal insulation which can help reduce energy costs.
There are many great benefits that these natural structures provide, if you are interested in any of our services, then please contact us to see how they can benefit you.
Some of our services include Woodland Management, Field Drainage, Bio Retention Systems, Wildlife Pond installation and more!
